Implementation of the National Program for the Advancement of Women (PAM) in the period 2023 in the Urbano Noris municipality 507 121

Abstract

The main objective of this work is to assess the work carried out for the advancement of women by identifying deficiencies and potentialities that are reflected in suggestions for achieving the objectives of the Program in the Urbano Noris municipality. In July 2023, the municipality created the Municipal Group, seeking the integration of the organizations involved in the program's actions. The research design corresponded to the non-experimental design. For this, several scientific methods were applied, including theoretical methods: historical-logical, analysis-synthesis, as well as induction-deduction; and empirical methods: documentary review and interviews. The main successes include the completion of a study that allowed identifying the progress, difficulties, and potentialities of the territory in its implementation; as well as the fact that the program stands as a necessary, applicable, and pertinent educational tool in the development of policies in favor of women.
