The circular economy is presented as an innovative paradigm that promotes economic growth and job creation while enabling sustainable development without increasing environmental degradation or depleting natural resources. Unlike the traditional linear model based on producing, using, and disposing of products, the circular economy proposes the 6R methodology: reduce, reuse, recycle, recover, redesign, and remanufacture. This approach expands upon the original 3R concept, which emerged in the late 20th century to promote environmental awareness and waste reduction. The circular economy encourages innovation in the design of durable, repairable, and recyclable products, as well as the development of new business models based on reuse and remanufacturing. The transition toward a circular economy also promotes the growth of industries and employment opportunities in sectors such as waste management, repair services, reverse logistics, and eco-design. By reducing the consumption of raw materials and minimizing waste generation, it contributes directly to environmental protection and climate change mitigation. Consequently, the circular economy represents an opportunity to achieve more resilient and sustainable economic growth, while also serving as an essential strategy for generating green jobs and building a prosperous and environmentally responsible future. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the influence of the sustainable circular economy on economic growth and job creation.
