Abstract

The linear economy ("take, make, use, and dispose"), in its tendency toward consumption and production due to the insatiable demand for finite resources and the collapse of waste and disposal systems, demands an urgent transition to circular models aligned with the principles of the circular economy that harmonizes economic growth with environmental preservation and social well-being. The results of this research provide a broader picture of the level of knowledge and attitudes of university students toward the circular economy as a framework for entrepreneurial action, offering recommendations for higher education institutions to foster understanding and habituation in circular economy practices, as well as offering relevant knowledge for the development of future research.
